Early postcard, from "BEACHSIDE" at 1387 South Pine Creek Road and Pine Creek Avenue many years ago had "accommodations for family living by the week, month, or season". The very rare postcard further read: "The finest bathing beach in Connecticut..no finer vacation spot anywhere". This is a color-litho "bursheen" finished postcard, published by Lionel Eliovson Photography, Fairfield Conn. These two structures still exist...what is missing in this photo, is the Kensie Point Condominium building built in 1983 that replaced SURFSIDE on the beach.
