That is my Uncle Claude Johnson who was Harbor Master for many years.
With Howard Burr is my grandfather, W. Claude Johnson who was the harbor master at Southport Harbor after Mr. Burr. My grandfather is wearing an Irish knit sweater made for him by my grandmother, Genevieve Kane Johnson.
I used to keep my wooden Flying Dutchman (that I acquired from Kempton Baldridge in a trade for my TR-4) on a trailor in the yard. I was at Ludlowe then. Remember "old man Burr" distinctly as a consummate New England seaman with a disdain for anything fiberglass.
