Lattice House - Southport Village

Southport has a new home store on Pequot Avenue. Lattice House, owned by Southport resident Christopher Philip, recently opened across from the Southport Post Office.

Lattice House sells new and classic rediscovered items for the home, the garden and for your dog.  Chris brings the concept of the ‘sporting life’ to Southport with elegant barware and accessories for men, items for the horse, dog and sailing enthusiast, as well as classic pieces that fit into both traditional and modern homes.  He also offers a wide range of hostess gifts that go beyond the standard candle.  Philip’s idea is to provide a place where you can find reasonably priced unique and exciting gifts and accessories.  Since 40% of the inventory is one of a kind items sourced from around the country and abroad, the inventory is constantly changing – the customer never knows what they will discover when they stop by.

Lattice House has partnered with Southport Gallery with the idea of featuring on a monthly basis contemporary art by local artists.  “We wanted the ever-changing art to reflect the ever-changing inventory in the store,” says Philip. “Our goal is to create an inviting environment where customers can come, explore and have fun”.

Lattice House is also closely associated with Parker & Company Interior Design. Parker & Company was established more than 15 years ago, when Albert Hadley, interior designer to the famous and former Southport resident, took Parker under his wing. His association with Hadley catapulted him into the world of interiors and he hasn’t stopped since.  With a style he terms ‘Contemporary Prep’, Parker has created classically tailored designs in the coastal locations of Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Palm Beach as well as all over Fairfield County.

Parker & Company and Lattice House are excited to be Southport’s first one stop total design destination. Whether the living space needs a complete transformation, or just a few accessories to reinvigorate it, inspiration can be found.  From consultation to installation, they are all the design resource you’ll need.

Lattice House and Parker & Co are located at 411 Pequot Avenue; the store is open every day except Mondays, which are by appointment only.
