PEQUOT LIBRARY HOSTS AN ADMISSIONS FAIR FEATURING 29 REGIONAL SCHOOLS ON OCT.23rd

Southport, CT – Pequot Library’s large Auditorium/Concert Hall will be transformed into a Preschool - 5th Grade Admissions Fair on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 9:30am - 11:00am, think College Fair but for preschoolers. The public will be able to meet representatives from 29 regional schools, ask questions, and take home literature. There will be a Panel Discussion at 10:30am, Choosing the Best Educational Model for Your Child: Montessori, Religious, Single Sex, or Traditional Co-ed.

The panelists include Patricia Brady, Principal of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School (religious), John Munro, Headmaster at Fairfield Country Day School (single sex), Constance Ennis, Head of Lower School at Greens Farms Academy (traditional coed), and Heather Maccabe, Primary Director at the Montessori School in Wilton, CT.

Participating schools include: Assumption Catholic School; Beacon School; The Children’s School; Congregation B’nai Israel; Connecticut Friends School; Convent of the Sacred Heart; Eagle Hill Greenwich; Eagle Hill Southport; Fairfield Country Day; Greenfield Hill Church Nursery; Greens Farms Academy; Greens Farms Nursery School; Greenwich Catholic; Greenwich Country Day; Hamden Hall; Hill Farm Preschool; Hunt Ridge Montessori; King;
Landmark Preschool; The Mead School; The Montessori School (Grumman Hill Association); New Canaan Country; Ridgefield Academy; Rippowam Cisqua; Southport Congregational Nursery School; St. Paul’s Nursery School; Trinity Parish Nursery; The Unquowa School; Wooster School.
