Pequot Library's second annual Black Friday/Saturday Book Sale begins Nov.29th

Southport, CT – Pequot Library volunteers, Fairfield resident Peter Ventriglia and Bridgeport resident Colin Green plan for Pequot Library’s second annual Black Friday/Saturday Book Sale.
 
The sale will be held on Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, 2013, both days from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
 
Admission is free and all Sale proceeds benefit Pequot Library.
 
All items are new or “gently-used” and perfect for gift giving.

Green says, “There will be good gifts in a peaceful environment, at the right time of year.” Ventriglia adds, “It’s a nice way to stay local. It’s like the Fairfield Women’s Exchange in Southport but for books and music. There will be a little bit of everything, and there will be items you can’t find anywhere else. Last year people commented on what a great thing they found, that’s what so unique and exciting about this book sale.”

There will be over 5,000 items for sale, categories in Pequot Library’s Black Friday/Saturday Book Sale include: Art, Biography, Children’s, Coffee Table, Cookbooks, Crafts, New Fiction, Gardening, History, Maritime, Military, Religion & Philosophy (new), Seasonal Books, Seasonal Music, Signed Books (new), and Transportation. There will also be signed books by Olympic athletes, presidents and first ladies, senators, and local celebrities. Proceeds from the sale help fund over 350 annual programs for children, adults, and the community.
