"Horseshoes For Hope" featuring Sarah Chesler in Southport Nov.11th

HORSESHOES FOR HOPE on Monday Nov.11th

While growing up in Sweden, Sarah Chesler was surrounded by music. Her mother taught her to play piano almost as soon as she could reach the keys, and by age twelve she was writing and performing her own songs.

When Sarah left Sweden for America, she became a well-established presence on the local music scene in Connecticut and New York. She soon added guitar to her repertoire, continuing to write in her own inimitable style, while reflecting the music that had meant so much to her as she was growing up.

With the release of her album “Monday Night Smoker”, in 2010, we can fully appreciate her dexterity and growth as an artist to be reckoned with. Sarah has perfected the balance between her three instruments: piano, guitar and her mesmerizing, almost haunting, voice.

It is a voice that captivates and grabs by the heartstrings. Sarah describes her music as “alternative pop with jazz influences”.

Sarah stops by the Horseshoe Cafe on Monday 11/11 at 8:30PM to support the Operation Hope Food Drive.
Event is open to the public.  Bring a non-perishable Food Item for Donation.
