Preschool – Elementary school options: school fair at Pequot Library

Southport, CT – Explore diverse educational alternatives for your child on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 9:30am – 11:30am in the Auditorium/Concert Hall of Pequot Library in Southport, CT. Over 32 schools will participate. This program is free and open to the public.
Pequot Library’s Executive Director, Martha Lord says, “We have realized there is a need in this area for people to learn more about various options. We can bring it all together.”
Representatives from each school will be available to answer questions, and have information available. Have you thought about what’s next for your child? When a local mother heard about this school fair she exclaimed, “I wish I had this when we looked into alternatives for our curious son, who as a preschooler, was already a voracious learner. We searched for the right fit for a preschool, and ended up going out of district. It would have made our search much easier to just come to the school fair at Pequot Library.”
Participating schools include educational options, with some schools going from pre-K – 5th grade: Beacon School; Connecticut Friends School; Convent of the Sacred Heart; Eagle Hill, Southport; Eagle Hill, Greenwich; Fairfield Country Day School; Fraser-Woods Montessori School; Greens Farms Academy; Greenwich Academy; Greenwich Country Day School; Hamden Hall Country Day School; Landmark Academy of Westport; The Mead School; The Montessori School; New Canaan Country School; Pear Tree Point School; Stanwich School; Unquowa School, Wooster School; King; The Children’s School; St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School; Great Beginnings Montessori School; the hunt Ridge Montessori School; Temple Israel Early Childhood Center; Greenwich Catholic; Holy Child; The Long Ridge School; Whitby School; St. Paul’s Nursery School; Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School; Southport Congregational Church Preschool.
