ANNOUNCEMENT: Pine Creek Beach/Sasco Point Area cleanup INFO

As of 3pm Friday 11/2/12:

The Town of Fairfield Department of Public Works will continue to clean up the Town portion of Pine Creek Beach in an ongoing effort. Residents living on the waterfront of Pine Creek Avenue/French Street/Sasco Point are asked to bring all of the debris on their properties and their beaches and berms to bring that debris to their curb as best they can. On Monday, Fairfield DPW trucks will begin picking up all debris curbside. This is the first call. There will be several other times that Fairfield DPW will announce when they will have trucks coming to Pine Creek Avenue/French Street/Sasco Point areas. You are reminded to be careful handling debris and avoid stepping on or coming in contact with debris with nails/sharp objects. The DPW will pick up any debris possible below the high tide line and will also when time permits, rebuild Bowman Way and the access ramp to the beach. Questions? Please contact me at
