Southport, CTEarthly Pilgrimages, Heavenly Visions is the title of the new exhibit in the Perkin Gallery of Pequot Library. Photographs by Nicholas T. Porter will be on display from Friday, October 19 through Friday, November 16, 2012. A reception for the artist is scheduled for Sunday, October 28, from 1 pm to 3 pm. To accompany the show, in the Rare Book Case in the Perkin Gallery, there will be a collection of 19th and 20th century religious and secular artifacts on loan from the Nicholas Porter family.
