Snydacker honored by officials for service at Pequot Library

Wednesday was "Daniel Snydacker Day" in Fairfield, as the Board of Selectmen honored the executive director of the Pequot Library, who is stepping down after eight years.
"This is a high honor," Snydacker said. "It's been a very real privilege to serve not just the library, but the whole town; the whole region. I'm very touched."
Snydacker will continue to work part-time at the library, concentrating on the Southport library's prized collection of rare and vintage books.
