Display of vintage vehicles gets crowds 'Fired Up'

An array of vintage vehicles gleamed under brilliant summer skies Saturday as crowds ogled the classic rides showcased at the 2nd annual "Fired Up" Car Show.
The event, sponsored by the Southport Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, took place in the parking lot at Roger Ludlowe Middle School. It was open to all cars and trucks, with most of the entries clustered in the early 1900s and 1950s.
