St. Anthony Parish Annual Picnic on July 8th

2012 ANNUAL PARISH PICNIC SUNDAY  JULY 8 12:30 TO 6:30 PM

The Stan Scott Band will be playing from 12:30 to 4:30 PM
Please consider volunteering. Here are some ways to help:
Volunteers—Consider volunteering a few hours – leading up to, during and after the picnic. Sign-up forms are located at the entrances to the church or contact Marcy Vidoli at 203.259.6561 or email vidoli@sbcglobal.net. This weekend, there will be a sign-up table after Mass in front of the church or please sign-up on the parish website
www.stanthonyffld.org.

White Elephant Items—We are collecting treasures to sell in the White Elephant Booth (EXCEPT electrical items, cribs, car seats, large furniture, clothing, or sports/exercise equipment). Items may be dropped off in the middle garage located behind the church building on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7- 8:30pm or upon request. We also can use help sorting and tagging the items on Tent Night – Monday, July 2 at 7pm.
Tent Night—We welcome all hands on Monday, July 2 at 7pm to help set up the tents and booths for the picnic. The more the merrier! Thank you. Baked Goods—bake a batch of brownies, or any type of homemade goodies (breads, muffins, cookies, etc…) for the Baked Goods booth. Drop them off in the basement meeting room of the church on the weekend of the picnic.
Please remember: the less frosting, the better—the day of the picnic is usually very warm!
Lobster Dinner Tickets—An annual attraction at our parish picnic is the lobster dinner (boiled lobster, potato, corn-on-the-cob, and coleslaw). There are a limited number of lobsters available, but you can reserve one by purchasing a ticket in advance. Tickets are $12/single and $20/twin. Tickets will be sold after the Masses on the weekend of June 30/July 1. Look for the table outside the front of the church.
25% OF ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE MERTON CENTER FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLOTHES FOR THE CHILDREN SERVED BY ITS PROGRAMS. DONATIONS TO THE PICNIC ARE WELCOME. • • • •
