Native American Storytelling—Nudat’ Logun
(A Time for Telling Stories) (for families or adults)

We’re building a campfire on the Great Lawn, serving hot cider and pulling up to listen to Trudie Lamb Richmond, former director of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum’s public programming, a storytelling member of the Skatchakoke tribe. She’ll acquaint us first with the Native American tradition of telling stories through the winter, after the harvest is in—then tell stories from the tribes of the Northeast: Algonquin and Iroquois. Dress warmly!
Location : Great Lawn
Contact : (203) 259-0346, ext. 18
Indoors by fireplace if inclement weather.
