Description: B/w post card. Printed on front: "Southport 1906. House of William H. Jennings." The homestead of Capt. Joseph Jennings was built c 1830 (Ffld News 10 July 1936). Capt. Jennings had a store and wharf at the foot of Main St. Wm H Jennings was the grandson of Capt Joseph Jennings. The lamp in front of the house is one of the Dietz lanterns put up by the Sasquanaug Society in the late 19th century.
