Description: The boat appears to be one of the "O" boats "popularly called bird boats...most were named for birds...18' centerboard sloops, " referred to in the history of the Pequot Yacht Club by Johnson Stoddard. These boats were introduced in the 1920's at the PYC. In the background, right, is the clubhouse of the PYC.
