Description: B/w post card. Printed on front: "Southport 1906. House of Mrs Simon C. Sherwood." This house was built in 1884 for Simon Couch Sherwood, son of Edwin Sherwood (#89 Westway Road). The lamp in front of the house is a Dietz lantern, the type installed by the Sasquanaug Society in the 1890's. This house is the subject of HABS (Historic American Bldgs Survey) Report CT-296.
